When to schedule your newborn portraits?
It is ideal to schedule your session while you are in your second trimester. There are a limited amount of newborns sessions available each month. Be sure to prepare for your session ahead of time

How old should my newborn be during the session?
Newborns are best photographed within the first 10 days of life. If there is a specific situation that does not allow for this time period then we will adjust and make other arrangements. Otherwise it’s very important to capture newborns within these first few days to capture the sleepy adorable poses.
What to expect?
Sessions are typically 1 ½ to 3 hours long, depending on your newborn. This allows plenty of time for diapering, feeding hushing & rocking back to sleep. Several props and accessories are available to be used during your newborn session. It’s best not to bring siblings along to a newborn session because of the length of time needed. We would be happy to schedule a family session at a later date once the precious newborn portraits have been captured.

Newborn sessions include the time and talent of the photographer. Including the time posing, time processing and retouching each portrait and so forth.
The session includes a $350 credit that you may apply towards prints or digital collection.

Portrait Session
Our studio is set up for newborns and small children.
During the spring/summer/fall most sessions will be held outdoors .
{except for newborn sessions}
What to wear: We encourage outfit changes. Variety is a wonderful thing! There are many headbands, ties, props and accessories available for your use. Please ask if you have something particular in mind that you have seen.
Try to avoid clothing with logos and wording. These can be distracting and take the focus off of the most important one - your child. J
Remember that sometimes bare feet are best!

Your 1 hour session is broken into two groups. The first half we will capture your child portraits and you have the option of two background choices. The second half will be the cake smash, you will have one background choice for this. Smash cake is not included. Your package includes a $200 credit to apply towards your digital collection on CD or prints and enlargements.
